Location, location, location: - ABC Childcare Douglas, Co Cork is a newly constructed, purpose built, state of the art childcare centre, situated in a quiet area, adjacent to a large open protected parkland. Located just a “stones throw” from Douglas,Rochestown, Carrigaline & surrounding areas, with easy access to the city via the South Ring road, only minutes away. Our ideal location has been chosen for so that parents can combine successfully both work & family responsibilities.
We understand that parents these days are so busy , so dropping off your children couldn’t be easier, with your own purpose built roundabout, plenty of car parking.

The safety of your children to us is of paramount importance to us. We have gone to great lengths to ensure your child is safe & secure. Our state of the art CCTV security system monitors who has right of entrance to the centre at all times, & only restricted code holders will have access to any of the children’s rooms.
By placing your child in ABC Childcare, you have a peace of mind knowing that your child is cared for by a highly qualified experienced team of professionals.
We have strict security policies in place in which all staff are made aware of & must be followed at all times. Our admission security system is at the main door, & each child is signed in & out everyday. No child will be allowed to leave the centre without you, the parent’s knowledge.
If you wish to check in on your child whilst you are at work or home, simply log into our sophisticated CCTV monitoring system with your own unique password, & you can see what your child is doing at any time of the day.
Our centre has an innovative child friendly layout and design. It provides a comfortable, stimulating setting for each child to feel safe, develop at own their own pace and to interact with others.
Every room is specifically designed to cater for each age group , with all rooms opening on to a large indoors-common play area. This area encourages and allows the children to interact with other age groups (and even brothers and sisters too!!!), whilst always under supervision. The rooms are warm, comfortable, & spacious
Our Large out door common play area , is both modern & functional with different themed areas for play & most of all is fun!!. Our play area is designed to for the different developing stages of children; such as rocking, climbing, sliding, role-play, sand games, physical activities like cycling. Your children have access to out door play area all year round with awning-covered areas.
We also have a fully equipped Montessori Room for 3 to 4 and 4 to 5 year olds; with Two (1) year programmes operating.
Catering Staff provide nutritious and balanced meals for the children, with fully equipped kitchen facilities that are second to none. (All are Health Board approved & meet the highest standards in food hygiene & safety). The menus are fresh, & varied to provide a wide variety of meals. At ABC we provide healthy, nutritious meals for our chidlren, the home made dinners are free from mono sodium glutamate, articifical colourings or flavourings.
We review our menus with consultation with you the parents. we provide healthy snacks and meals , dietary restrictions whether medical, religious, or cultural are accomodated.
